lazy chocolate cake

the goods:

1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 cup cold water
canned frosting



Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an 8-inch square baking dish whisk together dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of flour mixture and add wet ingredients. Whisk until well combined.



Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes. Let cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Frost.

  1. I love your version of "lazy chocolate cake" compared to mine... Mine involves a box :) I will never achieve the level of commitment and expertise you have when it comes to cooking/baking...I'll just move next door :) hah
